Hey Telephone Toughguy,
I like your ideas. Some like using a valid email to get posting priviledges is really a no-brainer. And you're right , the current methods for posting open the Archive to all sorts of legal problems. This Archive is great -- I would hate to lose it.

An additional idea:
1) Create a network of Archive MVPs that would have to approve a posting before it goes live. MVPs would be users who demonstrate some level of trustworthy-ness (is that a word). MVP status would be revoked if you approve objectionable content. Many forums use this MVP approach to extend the management activities to a larger set of users.

I would volunteer to help with programming as well. Currently code in .Net C#, but I could learn PHP pretty quick if that's what they use.

Now we are talking! And by the way I have gotten no responses from my email... I think they might consider me an extremeist on the opposite side of the political spectrum based upon some of the spotlighted items and curators choices I have seen but you never know.
